Specialized Experience: - Two (2) years of experience with VMWare ESX or GSX virtualization operating system. Five (5) years experience with Windows Server 2000, 2003 (all versions) and Windows Server applications.
- Desired: two (2) years experience with Sun Solaris, Red Hat Linux and other Linux derivatives.
- Five (5) years experience working with enterprise hardware server platforms.
- Three (3) years experience with enterprise storage solutions; HP EVA, HP mid-range & workgroup storage, and EMC are highly recommended.
- Desired: two (2) years experience with enterprise-class backup solutions. Strong working knowledge of Internet networking technologies and principals including TCP/IP and DNS.
- Desired: strong working knowledge of Microsoft platforms and technologies including: IIS and SQL Server. Practical or educational background in development principles.
Specialized Certification: Industry Certifications required - VMWare Certified Professional (VCP). [Microsoft Certified Professional in one or more areas of specialization - preferably in Windows Server platform or related Internet technologies; MCSE is preferred]. Special Requirements: IA Workforce Certification Level: Information Assurance Technical (IAT-II). Education: Bachelor of Science/Arts Degree in Engineering or Computer Science or Science or Business Administration or Mathematics. Security Clearance: Current U.S. SECRET clearance required.
